"To his dog, every man is Napoleon, hence the popularity of dogs." -ALDOUS HUXLEY
"If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the difference between a dog and a man" - MARK TWAIN
DOG Song
Note: One of our favorites in this CD is HOUND DOG, by Willie Mae "Big Momma" Thornton. This original version was released in 1953, long before the version by Elvis. A rare find indeed.
This album will allow the listener to sample a number of
genres of music, passing through five full decades while at the same time
hearing songs sharing a common theme: “Mans Best Friend”.This album is a labor of love for all
involved.The artists, musicians,
recording engineers and all of us at MAG are lovers of dogs and music. For us, pairing the two on one unique
musical compilation is a natural. We hope you enjoy listening to this record as much as we did creating
it.
